Christmas Events 2025 in Artemida and Spata: Full Programme by Spata-Artemida Municipality

If you’re looking to experience the magic of Christmas in Artemida and Spata, it’s worth taking a closer look at this year’s festive programme prepared by the Municipality of Spata-Artemida. With events designed for all ages, the area comes alive with music, theatre, tradition and family-friendly activities, creating a warm holiday atmosphere for both residents and visitors.

Saturday, December 7

The festive season begins with the Lyceum of Greek Women of Spata, which hosts the 5th Christmas Bazaar from 12:00 to 18:00. Visitors can enjoy handcrafted items, seasonal decorations and a truly festive ambience rooted in local tradition.
Later the same day, from 19:00 to 20:00, traditional dances from the Dodecanese islands will be presented at the Spata Cultural Centre “Chr. Bekas”, celebrating Greek culture and heritage.

Thursday, December 12

On December 12, Artemida welcomes popular Greek singer Giorgos Tsalikis for a festive live concert  promising an energetic evening filled with well-known hits.

Friday, December 13

At 19:00, the Municipal Committee for Equality presents the children’s performance “Makis Rodakis and the White Ice Star” at the Spata Cultural Centre. This gentle and imaginative story delivers positive messages through music and storytelling.

Friday, December 20

The Municipal Conservatory of Spata-Artemida invites the public to its Christmas Concert at 19:00, featuring festive melodies that perfectly capture the spirit of the season.

Saturday, December 21

Families are invited to enjoy the event “Christmas Goblins, Elves and Gifts of Love” at 17:00, hosted at the Spata Cultural Multi-Space (1st Primary School). A playful and imaginative activity full of fairy tales and Christmas wonder awaits young visitors.

Friday, December 27

The holiday theatre programme continues with the artistic group thea-tree, presenting “The Lost Songs of Christmas” at 19:00 at the Spata Cultural Centre.

Saturday, December 28

The same group returns the following day with the performance “The Christmas Mischief-Makers”, also at 19:00, at the Spata Cultural Multi-Space.

Monday, December 30

The Children’s Stage of Giannis Christopoulos presents “Scrooge and the Riddles of the Elves” at 19:00, offering a fresh and entertaining take on the classic Christmas story at the Spata Cultural Centre “Chr. Bekas”.

Friday, January 3

The new year begins with a festive Shadow Puppet Theatre performance at 19:00, held at the 1st Primary School of Artemida.

Saturday, January 4

Children and families can enjoy the beloved classic “The Nutcracker”, presented by the Children’s Stage of Giannis Christopoulos at 19:00 at the Spata Cultural Centre.

Monday, January 6 – Epiphany

The holiday celebrations conclude on Epiphany Day with the musical-theatrical performance “The Ribbon Dance” at 14:30, presented by the Association of Friends of Music – Philharmonic “Chordia of Vravrona Artemida”, at the Spata Cultural Centre “Chr. Bekas”.
