The strength of Artemida is its people! This Sunday, March 8, 2026, we have a great opportunity to show our solidarity. The "Mamas of Artemida," in collaboration with the "Laiko" General Hospital of Athens, are organizing a voluntary blood drive and inviting everyone to dedicate a few minutes of their time to a sacred cause.
Blood cannot be manufactured in a lab; it can only be given. A small act for us can be the most precious gift for a fellow human being in need.

Why Participate?
Blood donation in our area is a movement that strengthens the bonds of our local community. It is an opportunity to come together, help out, and support the work of local groups like the "Mamas of Artemida," who are always looking out for the well-being of our town.
This initiative is made possible through the kind sponsorship of Taxi GALAXY.
Why is Giving Blood Important?
Many wonder why their participation is so vital. Blood donation is not just an act of love; it carries significant benefits:
-
You save up to 3 lives: A single unit of blood can be separated into components to help up to three different people fighting their own battles.
-
An act of solidarity: No one knows when we or a loved one might need blood. By giving today, we strengthen the "safety net" for everyone.
-
Supporting the local community: By participating in the actions of the "Mamas of Artemida", we show that our city is united and cares for its own.
