Looking for the perfect way to keep your kids active, creative, and engaged this summer? The Municipality of Spata - Artemida is hosting the “Summer Camp 2025 – Athlitiko Kalokairi,” a fun and well-rounded program for children ages 5 to 13. Packed with sports, hands-on activities, and educational adventures, this camp is designed to make the most of summer while keeping kids moving, learning, and having fun.

Program duration

The camp will run from June 16 to August 1, 2025. It is divided into seven weekly sessions:

• June 16 to 20

• June 23 to 27

• June 30 to July 4

• July 7 to 11

• July 14 to 18

• July 21 to 25

• July 28 to August 1

Eligibility

Children born between 2013 and 2020 are eligible to participate, covering ages from 5 to 13.

Locations

The camp will take place in two areas of the municipality:

• Spata: Municipal Gymnasium

• Artemida: 1st and 5th Primary Schools

Each location will operate only if a sufficient number of children register.

Daily schedule

The program is held Monday through Friday.
The main program runs from 08:00 to 13:00, with an optional extended program from 13:00 to 16:00.

Activities included

Sports: football, basketball, volleyball, handball, and Olympic-style games
Creative sessions: theatre play, dance, rhythmic gymnastics, music and movement, visual arts
Educational projects: bee workshops, forest and nature activities, emotional expression, the water cycle, nutrition, creative writing, environmental awareness, and an introduction to agriculture
Excursions: visits to theme parks, luna parks, and educational sites

Beach visits

In Artemida, children will go to the beach daily, depending on weather conditions.
In Spata, beach visits are optional and include an additional transport cost.

Staff and group structure

Children will be grouped based on age, with each group consisting of 15 to 20 participants.
Staff includes certified physical education teachers and educators with state-recognized degrees. A doctor will be present during all program hours. All hygiene and cleaning protocols will be followed and supervised.

Meals and care

Children will receive a daily snack, including a sugar-free juice and a light item such as a koulouri, sandwich, or cheese roll.

Registration

Registration will take place from June 11 to June 13, between 18:00 and 20:00.
