• Red flag - Swimming prohibited due to dangerous conditions

Sunbeds & Umbrellas: How It Works

Beach bars in Artemida each have their own system, but it’s all pretty simple. In many places, sunbeds are free - just grab a drink or a snack and you’re good to go. Some bars have a minimum spend, usually between €15 and €50 for a full set. Others charge a flat fee for two sunbeds and an umbrella - sometimes with an extra chair or two. And on a few beaches, it depends where you sit: front-row sunbeds might cost more, while those in the back are free or included with a small order.

Blue Flag Beaches

Two beaches in Artemida have been awarded the Blue Flag, an international certification for water quality, cleanliness, and accessibility.
