Aquathlon & City Run 2025 in Artemida - Swim, Run & Celebrate by the Sea
Today, Artemida isn’t just another beach town - it’s the beating heart of Greek multisport. From early in the morning until the sun goes down, the city comes alive with movement, excitement, and positive energy. Hundreds of athletes from all over Greece have gathered here for a dynamic celebration of endurance and spirit, competing in running, swimming, and Aquathlon events. But this isn’t just about competition - it’s an open invitation to the public to come watch, cheer, and become part of an unforgettable experience.
This year’s event, titled Artemida Legacy 2025, continues the journey that began with Aqua Adventures by Artemida, which took place for three consecutive years (2022–2024). In 2025, the event has taken a new shape - more organized, more official - now part of the Why Not league.
For the first time, the Hellenic Triathlon Federation is an active co-organizer, hosting the Panhellenic Aquathlon Championship alongside the open races for the general public. It's a great mix of competitive and amateur spirit coming together in one shared experience.
The Trolley Café serves as the heart of the event - hosting race starts and finishes, awards ceremonies, announcements, and the technical support hub for the day.
The event is supported by the Municipality of Spata - Artemida, which plays a key role by providing local infrastructure and coordination. The entire event is held under the guidelines of the 2025 Triathlon Competition Rulebook and the official sanctioning of the Federation.
